David T. Chang, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. David Chang is committed to practicing high-quality, state-of-the-art urology with care and compassion and his highest priority is each patient's urologic health and well-being.
Dr. Chang graduated from Harvard with honors in the biochemical sciences and attended medical school at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons. He then completed two years of General Surgery and four years of Urology residency training at the Columbia Presbyterian campus of The New York Presbyterian Hospital, including one year as Chief Resident of the Squier Urological Clinic. He is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Chang has been chosen as a United States Presidential Scholar and was the recipient of a Research Fellowship from the National Institute of Health. He has authored over twenty articles in journals such as the Journal of Urology, the Urologic Clinics of North America, and the Journal of the American College of Surgeons. He has also presented several scientific papers at national meetings of the American Urologic Association and the World Congress of Endourology.
Dr. Chang is the Chairman of the Division of Urology at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center. He has been chosen to serve on the hospital's Operating Room Committee, the Cancer Care Committee, and the Surgical Pathology Tissue Committee. At The Valley Hospital, Dr. Chang serves on the Medical Oversight Group for the Minimally Invasive Surgery Center and has served on the Infection Control and the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committees. Dr. Chang has also been selected to represent the St. Joseph's IPA on the Quality Management Committee for the Qualcare, Inc. Insurance Company.
